Last week a group of Year 8, 9 and 10 students visited Paris and stayed in the Northern town of Albert to take part in language-based activities.
They enjoyed a day in Astérix Park and a day of sightseeing in Paris and Amiens. They also learnt about the First World War, with a visit to Thiepval War Memorial, Loghnagar crater and a guided tour of Beaumont-Hamel.
They used their language skills to choose and buy their own picnic at a local French market.
A big thank you to all our students, whose attitude and behaviour were exceptional. Each one of them was a great ambassador for Tanfield School in France. Merci.
