We were delighted to be invited to attend the Schools' Science Festival hosted by Durham University on 3rd April.  A group of Year 9 and 10 students had the opportunity to be involved in different workshops covering all aspects of Science.  Students attended lectures organised by PHD post -graduates relating to our Solar System, sport and fitness, 3D shapes and moods and music.  Other activities included students learning how to survive a volcanic eruption, investigating light and understanding spectroscopy.  Students were enthusiastic and displayed exemplary behaviour throughout.
